What we are doing to keep you safe Posted by James Cadigan in News 28 May 2020 Dr Cadigan is now seeing patients for dental care needs that should not be delayed. Here is some information to help make the experience as efficient as possible when you have to come in to see us. What to do to get an appointment First, call us for an assessment at 604-271-5622. We will evaluate the appropriate care for your situation. We will not be accepting walk-ups. Before confirming your appointment, we will ask a few questions to evaluate your risk factors in relation to COVID-19. For those who’s appointments were canceled due to the shutdown, please call if you are experiencing any pain or discomfort. We will be getting back to everyone else just as soon as we can. On the day of your appointment Please maintain physical distancing on your way here. When you arrive outside the building we ask that you call 604-271-5622 or text 778-957-2439 to check if we’re ready to take you in. Our waiting room will be locked. We’ll open it for you. Please wear a mask if you have one. Once you enter, we’ll provide you with some hand sanitizer and explain any onecessary safety precautions. Through it all, we’ll take good care of you. New safety protocols in the office Things will look different here, with new barriers, air exchange equipment and extra cleaning procedures. Appointments will be staggered to limit the number of patients and staff in the office. We’ll be using more personal protective equipment for most procedures. You might not be able to see us smile under the new gear, but trust us, we will be very happy to when we finally get to see you again! Special care for those over 60 or with high risk health issues We care for you most of all. You are not only our patients, but our family members, friends and coworkers. Because of the increased risk COVID-19 poses to people over 60 or with certain medical conditions, we need to be extra conservative and thoughtful with your dental needs. Should you require in-office treatment, we will be taking precautions, including special treatment times and procedures, to minimize the risk to you. To all of you and your families Thank you for your patience and for physical distancing in the last few months. In doing so, you have kept us all safer. We’ve really missed you and look forward to serving you again. Click here to schedule an appointment! no comments
