Dr. Cadigan

Dr. James Cadigan, Dentist

 

After completing Dental School at the University of Manitoba in 2009, Dr. Cadigan worked with his father who was a dentist in Winnipeg for a year before he moved to Vancouver and purchased Chatham Dental Centre in 2010 from Dr. Barbara Bradey; a clinic that has been around since the 1980s. On arrival to BC he fostered his professional relationships by becoming a member of the Vancouver & District Dental Society (VDDS), AO Fraternity, and teaching at the UBC faculty of dentistry GP Clinic. As a VDDS member he has also been a member of the board of directors since 2013 and as acting president from 2019-2021. He has been active in dental implant study clubs and hones his skill in implant surgery with the BITES Institute Live Surgery Study Club in Burnaby.

Deep Bhullar

Deep Bhullar, Hygienist

 

Deep Bhullar is a hygienist with Seacoast Dental Centre. She has been working in the industry since 2009. She studied dental hygiene at Durham University in Toronto, prior to which she completed the certified dental assistant program at Vancouver Community College. Deep is fluent in both Hindi and Punjabi.

In her spare time Deep enjoys spending time with her nieces, going for walks & hikes, and watching hockey.

As a hygienist, Deep loves seeing the joy her work can bring to her patients: “I’m very people-oriented. Everyone likes clean teeth, and I love seeing the smile on a patient’s face when we’re done.”

Alix Ruttan

Alix Ruttan, Receptionist

 

Alix Ruttan is the front desk administrator at Seacoast Dental Centre. Alix gained experience working in an administrative role both at a law firm and as a court clerk. Previous to that she worked in the Public Safety sector in a probation office. Alix spent her childhood in Japan and is fluent in Japanese, albeit a little out of practice. At the age of 12 she & her family moved back to Canada where upon their return they settled into beautiful Steveston.

Alix is interested in interior design and loves animals.In her free time she enjoys riding her bike, and playing both golf and basketball.

Alix has a warm cheerful demeanour that shines through in her interactions with the Seacoast Dental clients. She is happy to be working in the community that she & her family have such a strong connection to. Alix was pleasantly surprised by the environment that welcomed her at Seacoast Dental Centre, at that time called Chatham Dental Centre. “It feels less formal than other dental clinics. It’s welcoming and supportive and you can tell the clients really like the staff,” she said.



Tracy Jensen

Tracy Jensen, Treatment Coordinator

 

Tracy Jensen is the Treatment Coordinator at Seacoast Dental Centre. Knowing Tracy prior to her joining the team as treatment coordinator, Dr. Cadigan recognized that her empathetic and sincere nature would be ideal in making the clients feel more comfortable. As the treatment coordinator, Tracy works with patients to help them understand their treatment options, navigate the insurance process, and ultimately feel more comfortable and confident with their treatment plan choice.

Tracy, a mother of two, loves camping, fishing, gardening and pretty much anything outdoors that allows her time with the family. Tracy is passionate about animals as well as sports, both watching and playing.

Tracy truly enjoys her role at Seacoast Dental Centre: “I love talking with people, listening, getting to know them.”

Palloma Marreiros

Palloma Marreiros, Dental Assistant

 

Palloma Marreiros joined Seacoast Dental Centre as a dental assistant. She studied dentistry in Brazil where she worked as a dentist for 11 years before moving to Canada in 2019. She is fluent in Portuguese.

Palloma loves spending her free time swimming and hiking with her family. She especially enjoys taking her daughter to the local swimming pool.

Palloma couldn’t be happier to be a part of the team at Seacoast Dental Centre: “I like everything about it here. The people, the procedures, the environment, everything.”
